Care Instructions

  • Any sterling silver jewellery findings exposed to air will tarnish. Silver tarnishes faster in areas with high humidity and air pollution.
  • Avoid contact with water.
  • Store your jewellery in dry airtight container, like a Ziploc bag, Tupperware, etc.
  • Avoid direct contact with corrosive agents such as soap, cream, sweat, water, sun, heat and chemical products.
  • Protect them from moisture and keep away from all sources of heat such as radiators and windows.
  • Do not wear jewellery when in the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna/steam room or while bathing or showering.
  • Chlorine, detergents, oils and perfumes can all cause tarnishing and damage.
  • Thoroughly dry jewellery after exposure to water: moisture can cause tarnishing and may weaken springs, glue and clasps.
  • Make-up, perfume and hairspray all contain chemicals, which may dull the finish of jewellery.
  • Gently wipe jewellery clean with a dry soft cloth, or polishing cloth, before putting it back into an airtight container.
  • Remove jewellery when doing household tasks to avoid knocking against objects that can scratch or chip the crystal.
  • Your jewellery is the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off!
